father's day number ONE surprise

Must I say it or can I let the picture tell the story?

If you haven't guessed it, the above picture is telling a story of excitement.  Also, I have the coolest most bestest wife in the world.  My early Father's Day present was a White Xbox One Master Chief Edition.  Generally we don't spend a lot of money on each other when it comes to gifts but we've been holding out on the Xbox One for a while.  We were going to wait until it came to a point that the publisher stopped making the AAA games we wanted for the 360.  Unfortunately that time is coming and with Halo 5 right around the corner we have to start gearing up for the fun to come.

I know some parents may think video games are a waist of money but in our house hold we get more value out of our games than pretty much any other purchase.  Myself and the kids will sometimes get lost in the games by ourselves but 95% of the time our gaming is done together and with a lot of noise and enthusiasm.  It's a way for us to spend time with each other much like some family like camping.  Don't get me wrong, it's important to get outside too just understand there are plenty of ways to have fun with your kids.

Hear is my advice to any parent that used to be into Atari, Sega or Nintendo's Mario Brothers, Metroid and Zelda.  If you have a child that likes gaming and you think it's a waist of time, do your best to get into the games they like because chances are you'll fall in love with the activity too, especially the time spent with them.
